Jewell’s SIFE team was named a Regional Champion at the SIFE USA Regional Competition held April 13 in Dallas. The event is one of 11 SIFE USA Regional Competitions being held across the United States in March and April.

As a SIFE USA Regional Champion, the William Jewell SIFE team now advances to the 2012 SIFE USA National Exposition in Kansas City on May 22-24. “Our Jewell team came into the year facing some unexpected challenges, but the strong student leadership and efforts throughout the team enabled us to be a winning team,” said Linda Bell, professor of accounting and Sam Walton Fellow. “I am very much looking forward to seeing this team compete at Nationals.”

Students representing Jewell SIFE on the presentation team include Chris Bradbury, Paul Cohoon, Megan McConnell, Kristin Moore, Josh Prock, Brad Robertson and Brian Wiedeman. The Jewell team invites the campus community to join them at the National Expo this May 22-24. Attendance requires pre-registration through our Jewell team. If you would like to attend, please contact Professor Linda Bell (belll@william.jewell.edu) and she will complete the registration for you.
